Sunblind control

Energy norms are getting stricter every year. More and better insulation is the overall message. This means that bright sunshine is not only disruptive in terms of visual comfort, but can also lead to rapid overheating of the office climate. Automated sunblind control helps you to keep radiated heat outdoors and allows you to optimally capture the free heat from the sun in winter.

How?

With the employment of a weather station with solar cells, rain and wind sensors on the roof of the building, our control systems ensure a perfect coordination between sun protection and the weather conditions on the one hand, and the link with everything around HVAC on the other. If the indoor climate becomes overheated, the HVAC system will need more power to continue to guarantee maximum user comfort. Of course, that consumes more energy. An automated sunblind control system excludes this additional energy consumption.

There are two possible systems:

  • Fully-intelligent:

The system is so intelligently configured that each sunblind can be separately controlled. Per motor one output is provided, which allows you to locally control each motor, for example by means of a push button or a rotary switch.

  • Semi-intelligent:

A semi-intelligent system can control the sunblinds per facade and per floor, with or without local deviation. This means that, unlike with a fully intelligent system, where each motor can be operated locally, a group of motors can be operated locally, for example by means of a push button or a rotary switch.

Please note that priority commands (wind, rain and window washer functions) cannot be overridden by a local control.

We were efficient here too.
