Lighting control at Communitycentre Voorthuizen

Voorthuizen will have a new town hall with a sports hall at the Wikselaarseweg in January 2021. Together with InnQ Installaties from Almere, GIA has delivered and commissioned the lighting and blinds control. The GIA Smart Solution was used for the central (Dali) control, combined with Flexbox® junction boxes in, among others, the changing rooms. These systems ensure a quick, flexible and maintenance-friendly plug-in installation. The lighting is largely automatically controlled by means of movement sensors, which adjust the light level depending on the amount of daylight entering the building. Through integration with the sun blind control system, an external light sensor ensures that the exterior lighting is automatically switched when it gets dark.

In the centre of the building is a raised stage. If there is a performance for a smaller audience, the performance can be easily seen from the hall in the village hall. When there is a large audience, the sports hall can also be used. The stage can also be seen from there. The sports hall, just like part of the Village Hall, is equipped with Dali lighting control, so that the lighting here can also be configured per luminaire. Partly under the stage at a lower level in the Village Hall is the bowling alley, which will be used by various bowling clubs.
