SAPP® detectors and GIA BUS® system in new office buildings BDO Services and G-Label

Van Tornhaut builds new office buildings in Melle on behalf of BDO Services and project development company G-label. GIA Systems is supplier of lighting control, driven by its own multifunctional SAPP® detectors in combination with the underlying GIA BUS® System and protocol of the same name.

The smooth properties of a SAPP® ceiling can be further emphasized by means of SAPP® detectors, specially developed by GIA Systems for the Interalu SAPP® climate ceiling.

The compact detectors are placed in the 2 cm wide joint between the ceiling panels. The rubber elastic band (to keep the detectors in place) and the flexible cabling, allow you to easily and safely move the detectors.

The detectors can be programmed in presence and absence mode. For daylight-controlled detectors, luminosity is automatically adjusted to the ambient light level. The detectors can also be remotely controlled thanks to a built-in IR receiver.

Presence or absence detection and daylight control reduce a building’s energy consumption and thus its eco-footprint.

The detectors are plug-and-play connected with an RJ45 connecteor and flexibly wired with 24V. The installation is more sound and easier to inspect electrically.

Finally, the full capacity of the ceiling can be used. No technical panel needs to be sacrificed to install a detector.

At GIA Systems we are convinced that specialised subsystems for Building Automation, such as the GIA BUS®, are more efficient than general software solutions.
