PwC is an organisation in the field of business services. In the fully renovated office building of approximately 19,000 m² in Utrecht, GIA Systems took care of the adaptation of the lighting control system. The client was 4Some Technisch Beheer (translated: 4Some Technical Management) who took care of the technical installation. GIA systems took care of all lighting control and cabling in this office building. In addition to the lighting, a large control screen at the reception desk can also be used to open the barriers, for example.
The entrance was transformed into a 900 m² plaza where reception, meeting, (flex)working and confering are central. In this new entrance new lighting, partly DALI, and additional meeting rooms were created. This had an impact on the existing lighting control, for which 4Some was supported by engineers from GIA Systems.
The GIA BUS® System was adapted with an additional DALI DIN-rail module to control the DALI lighting. The existing control panel was replaced by another, larger type. This makes it even easier to operate all rooms in the building and the barriers from one place.
